Magical Night in Fairhope!

We had an incredible signing in Fairhope, Alabama last Thursday at the Page & Palette bookstore. There was a great turnout for my talk beforehand and it was nice seeing old friends and new fans of the series. It was especially cool seeing Alabama and Dallas Cowboy football legend Lee Roy Jordan, Winston Groom, the author of “Forrest Gump” and numerous other bestsellers, as well as Alabama business legend, Angus Cooper. Thank you to everyone at the Page & Palette for a great event. I also want to thank my wonderful friends, Joe and Foncie Bullard, for hosting a party after the signing for us at the Supper Club in Point Clear. This event was extra special because my wife, Dixie, our three kids and my mom were all able to attend. It was a magical weekend on the Bay!

  1. I was not able to attend your book signing in Decatur last week. 😦 My husband at Achilles surgery in Huntsville on Friday. I love your novels because of the connections I have. I grew up in Northport, graduated from Alabama in ‘77 and experienced the Bear Bryant era. When I began you last book I was so excited to see that one of your main characters had the same first name as my deceased mother, Wilma. (Although, she did not have a lot in common with your character!) I look forward to your next novel and hope to hear you speak one day soon!

    • Thank you, Joan! I’m so glad you have enjoyed the stories. I hope your husband’s surgery went well. Thanks again for your message. My next book, THE FINAL RECKONING, comes out in April of next year and I’m hoping that the Friends of the Decatur Library will have me back as a speaker.
